Using this website
The website is designed to work on phones, tablets and desktop computers. We aim to use clear headings, meaningful links, keyboard-accessible controls, readable colour contrast and text alternatives for informative images. You should be able to enlarge text using your browser without losing the main content.
How accessible it is
We have carried out basic technical and visual checks, but the website has not yet had a complete independent audit against WCAG 2.2 AA. We therefore do not claim full compliance at this stage.
Known limitations
- Some club-supplied historical graphics, sponsor artwork or photographs may contain text that is not fully repeated in the image description.
- Information supplied by external services, including FA Full-Time, may not provide the same level of accessibility as the club’s own pages.
- The protected visual editor is designed for club administrators and may have limitations at high zoom levels or with some assistive technologies.
Getting information in another format
If any page, fixture, result, profile or club document is difficult to use, email wallsendwgc@gmail.com. Tell us the page or information you need and the format that would help. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Reporting an accessibility problem
Please send accessibility feedback to wallsendwgc@gmail.com. Include the page address, what went wrong, the device or assistive technology used, and a contact method if you would like a response.
How we test and improve
We review new public features for keyboard use, responsive layout, headings, link purpose, contrast and image descriptions. This statement will be reviewed after major website changes and at least annually.
